Question: Please give a brief explanation of Markazi Province and more specifically the Amirkabir Recreational and Touring Complex and the beautiful five Star Amirkabir Hotel.
Answer: The Markazi Province is considered one of the important poles of industry in the Islamic Republic of Iran and it has more than four thousand big and small industrial unites in it. We can point out to some of the branches of the industry in the Markazi province including refinery, auto making of Arak, Azar Ab Industries, Kabian Making Company of Iran, Wagon building and aluminum industry, and others to name a few. Unfortunately before Amirkabir Recreational and Touring Complex this industrial pole was without facilities to rest, comfortable overnight stay, recreational and sport facilities. Even if there are some service facilities something more substantial was needed to represent the need and the standard of the people working in these industries. It can even be said that there was no real hotel in the city of Arak, therefore the top manager of different industrial unites were always perplex as to where to put up their foreign and domestic experts when they visited Arak. There was no entertainment or recreational services for the honorable citizens of Arak and especially for the visiting mangers and their families which they had to come to this city to offer their services. Therefore the retirement and social services fund to build a future, in the form of Amirkabir Recreational and Touring Complex has put in place all the needs and interests of the people of Arak in it’s projects.
One of them includes putting eight and a half hectares of its land for the use of the recreational park in 1987 and two years latter in 1989 the Laleh Recreational and Amusement Park was established. In 2002 the beautiful dinning hall of Koh-e Nor and the traditional dinning hall of Kohestan was opened to the public. At that time the plans for the five Star Amirkabir Hotel on 25 hectares of land was put into place and in 2005 this beautiful hotel was opened to public. Also from the sporting aspect of the Amiekabir Recreational and Touring Complex building the swimming pool, Saunas, Jacuzzi, bodybuilding, bowling, bicycling ring, and tennis court were opened to the public at the same time. To begin activity in sports such as football (soccer), volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and the other sports that can be played in a covered stadium can bring the anticipation to host sporting events. So it is possible to host different sporting clubs to play and have games in Arak.
Question: What are your goals in this complex in terms of tourism and retreat?
Answer: Our final goal is for this complex to become a tourist attraction. To reach this goal we have come 35% of the way. With 45% of the work completed for the second Amirkabir Hotel, the conference building and the international shopping and business centers, we can reach our goal of becoming a place like Namakabe Rood complex in the desert. This can come into reality with the support of the representative in the province and country level. With the completion of the rotating restaurant, the gondolas, grass ski slops, and the water shoots and tunnels on the hills next to the complex 20% of the overall work will be done.
Question: What is the goal for Amirkabir Recreational and Touring Complex to join with Hamgam Arya Hotel Group?
Answear: As the General Manager of Amirkabir Recreational and Touring Complex it is my opinion that this chain that has been establish with the will and dedications of all the top managers of the group, will help with exchanging information to attract and receive domestic and foreign guests and communication bridges between many hotels. Especially in the case of exchanging information between the management and even the employees of hotels who in contacting the Hamgom Arya Hotel Group will get in the direction of collecting information that will help them improve their hospitality and receptivity of guests. For an example when one of the hotel has put into practice a special service the other members of the group can also take on this new service offer it to their guests. To improve the weaknesses and in preparations become a united front which will certainly cut expenses as the result. This can have a solid foundation in building the tourism industry. To accomplish these goals will depend of the implementation of these visions by the management committee of Hamgom Arya Hotel Group. In this very short time that they have been working together their accomplishments are admirable.
